About
Hi, I am Gemma Gotting. I studied Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status at Manchester Metropolitan University, England in 2002 - 2006. I then went on to teach across the primary age range from children as young as 3 years old in Nursery to 11-year-olds. I taught in schools in Manchester, London and Worthing in a mix of public and independent schools before moving abroad to Vietnam to teach in a British international school. During my 9 years in Vietnam, I taught from Foundation 3 to Year 2 students. I was the whole school English leader for 4 years before becoming the Year 1 leader, sitting on the Primary Leadership Team and making whole school decisions. I became exceptionally skilled at teaching children with English as an additional language during my time in Vietnam. With over 17 years of teaching experience, I have honed my pedagogical skills to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment. My teaching philosophy is rooted in personalised guidance, tailoring lessons to each student's unique learning style and needs. I possess the ability to make complex concepts simple and accessible, fostering a love for learning.
