I qualified as a Secondary Mathematics teacher in 2016, and have been teaching Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 (age 7 - 18) ever since. I have taught in a large mainstream secondary school in the North-West of England, working with students with a range of additional needs. I am now focusing on using my skills and experience to provide 1-2-1 and small group tuition. I endeavour to create a nurturing and positive learning environment to bring out the best in my students and instil confidence in their abilities. I realise that each student has unique learning needs, and tailor my sessions to suit them. I believe my patient and calm manner encourages students to ask questions and challenge themselves.
