I started my education journey in 2018, where I worked as a teaching assistant in an inner-London school supporting SEND and ESL learners. I then spent two months volunteering as a ESL teaching assistant in Spain, before I trained to teach in 2019/2020. Since 2022, I have been working as an online tutor. I have had the privilege of almost half of my students being from the Middle East and Qatar, including working as one Qatari student’s home educator. I take a holistic approach to tuition, working with students at risk of 3s and supporting them to get 6 and 7s on results days, through a combination of tutoring and coaching to raise their grades, confidence and enjoyment of English!
