I am a qualified teacher and have taught History and Politics for twenty years in both a secondary school and sixth form college. I have tutored students from all over the world including Dubai, Spain, the UK and the US. I have previously been a Head of Department and have experience working with Edexcel as a Moderator for History and as an Examiner for Politics. I currently work part-time as a classroom teacher and enjoy helping students as a tutor on a one-to-on or small group basis the rest of the time. I have experience teaching History with lots of different exam boards including Edexcel, AQA, OCR and Cambridge International. I enjoy lots of different periods of History from the Tudors to the Twentieth Century but I particularly enjoy Modern History. I think History is a brilliant subject as there is always something new to learn and what we learn can very often impact the future.
